Job Title: Club Videographer Intern

About Southside FC:

Southside FC is a new grassroots soccer club dedicated to fostering talent, sportsmanship, and community engagement. As a prominent entity in the local soccer scene, we are seeking a talented and motivated Club Videographer Intern to join our team and contribute to capturing the essence of our club through compelling video content.This is a non-paid position.

Responsibilities:

• Collaboration with Chief Content Officer:

  • Work closely with our Chief Content Officer to understand and execute the club's vision for video content.

• Video Capture:

  • Record high-quality footage that showcases the spirit and achievements of Southside FC.

  • Attend and capture footage at training sessions 3-4 times a month for various players and coaches.

• Match Coverage:

  • Capture video content during all 18 matches, focusing on key moments, player highlights, and crowd reactions.

• Event Coverage:

  • Attend and film various events hosted or attended by the club, ensuring the documentation of key moments and interactions.

• Editing and Post-Production:

  • Edit and enhance captured footage to create engaging and shareable content.

  • Collaborate with the content team to ensure the timely delivery of videos for the club website, social media platforms, and marketing materials.

• Equipment Management:

  • Applicant must have their own equipment to complete the tasks.

• Flexibility:

  • Be open to occasional weekend and evening work to cover matches and events.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Film, Media Production, or a related field (preferred but not necessary).

• Strong proficiency in videography and video editing software.

• Creative and detail-oriented with an eye for storytelling through visual media.

• Passion for soccer and understanding of the nuances of the game.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
