This role manages audio for Southside FC match livestreams, looking after microphones, commentary and the overall sound mix that supporters hear at home. It suits someone comfortable with audio equipment who can listen critically and adjust levels on the fly.
Typical responsibilities
- Manage audio for match livestreams, including microphones and commentary.
- Set and adjust levels throughout the match to keep sound clear and balanced.
- Help set up and test microphones and audio equipment before kickoff.
- Monitor the live mix and respond to any audio issues during the broadcast.
- Coordinate with commentators and the broadcast director during the match.
- Help pack down audio equipment after the match.
